A few things in Hoten

I had this bowl of pigeon soup in Hoten which is supposed to be the best in the town. There are two whole local pigeon. 'It is a good way to start your day. You will have full energy of a man.', my host told me.

This is statue made of walnut tree trunk. Children like to play around it.

One of the things you can't miss in Hoten is this old walnut tree. The place becomes a tourist attraction.

A special kind of pumpkin. After taking out the inside, local Uighur people use them as containers for oil, water or flours.

Vow! the king of walnut tree! It perhaps one of the oldest walnut tree in the world. It was over 1000 years young and still produces walnuts. I know it because I had one of those walnuts on the spot by climbing up the tree and picked myself.

'Hoten Park of Local Customs' was built to boost tourism. But business doesn't seem doing well. Even in August, there were only a handful visitors when we were there and we saw more part rangers than tourists.

There is definitely something you don't want to miss! A huge fig tree which occupies about half acre of land bears large quantity of sweetest Hoten figs.

Hosts served us fruit product of the park. Hotel ladies are extremely beautiful, slim and attractive.
